The 21st ESPD Annual Meeting, Munich, Germany, 20 - 22 May 2022 is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 11 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). The CME Certificate will be distributed electronically after the Meeting and after submitting the Meeting Evaluation Form online. For more info refer to EACCME Accreditation on this website.
The easiest way to how to get from/to the Munich airport is a taxi or train. Taxi is 50-60 € and the ride is about 45 minutes depending on traffic. Train (S-Bahn) one-way tickets costs 11.20 € pp and the journey takes about 40 minutes. The Rosenheimer Platz station is just below the hotel.

Name badge shall always be worn when attending the sessions and official programme. Please get your badge scanned at the session hall entrance, especially if you need the EACCME Certificate but also for tracking the programme attendance.
ATM/Cash machine is available in the Holiday Inn Munich Lobby, as well as in a 5-minute walking distance from the hotel, please check with the reception.
All registered and attending participants can download their Certificate of Attendance in the registration portal within one week after completing the Meeting Evaluation form available on the website after the event.
After vacating your room on the departure date (until 12 am) please refer to the hotel reception to store your luggage and coats.
Delegates staying outside of the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre should refer to the hotel reception to store coats, umbrellas etc.
All persons entering Germany from the age of 12 are required to provide proof of testing (negative test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery) - regardless of whether they enter the country by plane, train, bus, ship or car.

Most of Covid-19 restrictions were lifted in Bavaria, Germany. There are no Covid restrictions for the congress delegates.
FFP2 masks are required in public transport and hospitals.

First aid is not available at the venue. In case of emergency, please refer to the hotel reception to ask for assistance or call 112 directly.
The Meeting Evaluation Form (Survey) will be available online on the Meeting website after the event and it will also be sent to delegates by email. The EACCME Certificate and Certificate of Attendance will be issued only after this survey is submitted, within one week time.
The Organisers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained or for loss or damage to property belongings of Meeting participants, accompanying persons either during or because of the Meeting or during the accompanying programme. Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage, and trip cancellation.
Guests staying in the Holiday Inn Munich Hotel can use the Wi-Fi connection provided by the hotel in their rooms and public hotel areas.
The official language of the 21st ESPD Annual Meeting is English. All lectures will be delivered in English and no interpretation is provided.
Lunches are not provided during the Meeting. Snacks and refreshments can be purchased in in surrounding restaurants and shops.
Participants are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones in silent mode in the meeting rooms while sessions are being held.
Nearest Pharmacy (Domos Apotheke) is in the subway area under the hotel (use the “metro exit” from the hotel). Closing at 20:00.

Supermarkets are in the subway shopping area just under the hotel (Aldi, Hit, Flink). More shops can be found in the surrounding area or in the city centre about 10 minutes away.
Please note that smoking is not permitted in the Meeting areas and public areas of the hotel.
Speakers’ Preview Room is located within the Meeting area, please follow the signage, or check with Registration desk, and it will be available in the following times:
Presentations must be handed over to the personnel at least TWO hours before the start of the session; presentation for an early morning session should be handed over the evening before. Please refer to Authors Guidelines on this website.
The average taxi journey around Munich city centre costs approx. 10 – 15 EUR. A taxi from/to the airport is usually around EUR 60 and the drive is about 45 minutes. To order a taxi please refer to hotel reception.
