EACCME ACREDITATION

The 21st ESPD Annual Meeting, Munich (live streaming), Germany, 20/05/2022-22/05/2022 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 11 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Distribution of Credits

Onsite Session attendance will be tracked via a barcode on each participant's badge which will track his/her attendance in the meeting rooms. Please note each participant is responsible to ensure his/her barcode is properly scanned when entering the meeting room before the beginning of each session.

Please read the detailed programme carefully to learn when each session starts. Some sessions follow without a break immediately after the previous one finishes. Yet the barcode needs to be re-scanned at the beginning of each Parallel or Plenary Session even though no break is scheduled in the programme. Please make sure you have your badge properly scanned at the door control.

Virtual Session attendance will be tracked within the Virtual platform.

CME Certificate

The CME Certificate will be distributed electronically after the Meeting to all participants who fill and submit online Meeting Evaluation within one week after the Meeting. The Evaluation Form will be available in the online registration portal, on the website and in the Virtual Platform.  Participant who does not present the Meeting Evaluation Form cannot be entitled to receive the CME Certificate.

A minimum attendance of 30 minutes per session is required. Parallel sessions with the same start time are not cumulative.
