Accreditation

The 24^th ESPD Congress, Brussels, Belgium, 29 – 31 May 2025 is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 12,5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). For more information please refer to the EACCME Accreditation on this website. The CME Certificate will be distributed electronically after the event and after completing the Congress Evaluation.

Airport

The easiest way how to get to Brussels airport is a taxi or a train from the Gare du Midi/Brussels South train station, the journey by train takes about 20 minutes and tickets are from 11 EUR.

Badges

Name badge shall be always worn when attending the sessions and official programme. Get your badge scanned at the session hall entrance, especially if you need the CME credits.

Certificate of Attendance

All attending participants can download their Certificate of Attendance in the registration portal within one week after the event.

Cloakroom and Luggage room

Cloakroom is in the venue foyer next to the Registration. Luggage room will be available in the cloakroom on the departure day.

Emergency/First Aid

In case of emergency, please contact the Registration desk or any of the congress or venue staff members, alternatively please call 100 or 112 directly.

Evaluation Form

The Congress Evaluation Form (Survey) will be available online on the Congress website after the event and it will also be sent to delegates by email. The EACCME Certificate and Certificate of Attendance will be issued only after this survey is submitted, within one week time.

Insurance and Liability

The Organisers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained or for loss or damage to property belongings of Congress participants, accompanying persons either during or because of the Congress or during the accompanying programme. Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage, and trip cancellation.

Language of the Congress

English is the official language of the 24^th ESPD Congress. All lectures will be delivered in English and there is no interpretation provided.

Lost & Found

A lost and found service is available at the Registration Desk in the venue foyer.

Lunches

Lunches are not provided by the Congress. Coffee/tea is provided during the Coffee break times.

Mobile Phones

Participants are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones in silent mode in the meeting room while sessions are being held.

Scientific sessions/recordings and E-Posters will be available online in the On Demand Portal for 2 months after the congress. Access is for registered delegates only. Delegates are not authorized to share the platform access details to other persons. Attendance will be tracked.  

On Demand Sessions & E-Posters

On Demand Sessions/recording will be available in the On Demand Portal within one week after the event and available online for 2 months after the event (1 August 2025).

E-Posters are available on screens onsite in the venue and online in the On Demand portal.

To log in please use your email address (as used for registration to the ESPD 2025) and the portal will instantly send you a password to enter. In case of any login issues, please contact us at the Registration desk onsite or at registration@espd.info

Access is for ESPD 2025 registered delegates only. Delegates are not authorized to share the portal access details to other persons. Attendance will be tracked. 

Photos

Please do not take photos of the presentations.

Posters

Posters are available in electronic format only, presented on screens in the venue and online in the On Demand Portal during the event, and for 2 months after the congress (1 August 2025).

Programme Changes

The Congress Organisers cannot assume liability for any changes in the programme due to the external or unforeseen circumstances.

Smoking policy

Please note that smoking is not permitted inside of the venue.

Speakers’ Preview Room

Speakers’ Preview Room is available in the following times:

  • 12:00 – 19:00    
• Friday 30 May
  • 07:45 – 19:00
• Saturday 31 May
  • 08:30 – 14:00

Presentations must be handed over to the personnel at least 2 hours before the start of the session; presentation for an early morning session should be provided the evening before. Please refer to the Authors Guidelines in this book or on the congress website.

Taxi

There is a taxi rank in front of the Gare du Midi/Brussels South train station. The cost to the airport is from 50 EUR.

The programme is correct at the time of printing, but organisers reserve the right to alter the programme when deemed necessary. The Congress Organisers shall not be liable for acts or commissions in the event of injury, damage, loss, accident delay or irregularity of any kind whatsoever during arrangements organised through contractors. Hotel and transportation services are subject to the terms and conditions under which they are offered to the public. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
