Early registration deadline is 3 March 2026.


How to Register

  • All registrations must be made through the Online Registration Portal.
  • First create an account. After that, sign in to finish your registration.
  • If you have previously attended an event or submitted an abstract, you may already have an account. 
  • We recommend using a personal email address to avoid delivery issues.
  • A confirmation email with your registration number will be sent after submission.
  • If you are creating a registration for someone else, you can create an account using your details and provide the delegate’s information on the registration form. Once registered, you can add another participant via the ‘Add Participant’ button.

Registration deadlines are based on local time (CET/CEST).

If your payment is not received promptly, the latter fee will be automatically applied. Unpaid or partially paid registrations will not be considered valid until paid in full.

Same fees for the in-person and virtual attendance apply. Please register for your preferred way of attendance during the online registration process. 

The In-person fees listed above include a local VAT of 22 %.


Virtual fee:

Delegates/recipients of the service from the EU with a valid VAT number are subject to Reverse Charge system. According to Article 44 and 196 EU VAT Directive, the VAT is shifted to recipient (to be paid by the recipient in his/her country). A valid VAT Number will be requested and validated during the online registration process.

For delegates/recipients of the service from the EU who are not VAT payers, the fee includes VAT of respective national level. For more information, please click here.

For delegates/recipients of the service from a country outside of the EU, the fee is with 0% VAT.


* ESPD MEMBER - To qualify for the respective fee membership must be valid during the Congress dates.
ESPD membership guarantees a substantial reduction on the registration fee. For more information about becoming an ESPD member/renewing your membership, individual member categories and member benefits can be found under the respective bookmarks of the ESPD official website.
** Applications should be accompanied by a letter from the head of department confirming eligibility.
*** ESPD Allied Healthcare Professional Member - only AHPM can register for this fee. For how to become AHPM please check here. Membership must be valid during the Congress dates.
****Accompanying person fee is applicable for in-person attendance only.


In-person Registration Fees Include:

  • Access to all scientific sessions, poster, and exhibition area (HCPs only) 
  • Access to on demand sessions for 2 months after the event
  • Welcome Networking Event 
  • Lunch is not included in the registration fee

Accompanying Person Fee Includes:

  • Attendance of the Welcome Networking Event

Virtual Fees Include:

  • Access to all scientific sessions, poster, and virtual exhibition area (HCPs only)
  • Access to on demand sessions for 2 months after the event

Cancellation Conditions

Registration Cancellations

  • Until 3 March 2026 – a 50 EUR administrative fee will be applied
  • Until 31 March 2026 – a 50 % cancellation fee will be applied
  • From 1 April 2026 – no refund can be processed

General Cancellation Conditions

  • All cancellations must be notified in written form by email to the ESPD Congress Secretariat.
  • Refund requests received after 1 April 2026 will not be considered.
  • For any change of delegate´s name a 20 EUR administrative fee will be charged. Such changes may be made no later than one week prior to the event.

All fees are to be paid in EUR, free of all bank charges. However, please confirm with your bank as to any possible charges from their side.

Bank Transfer

Please ensure that the registered participant’s name and registration number are clearly stated in the bank transfer. Payments received without such details (name, registration number) cannot be easily identified and may not be valid.

Payment by bank transfer is available until 1 April 2026. After this date, all payments can only be made by credit/debit card.

Invoice

The final invoice can be downloaded from the Online Registration Portal three weeks after full payment. It will be issued based on the details provided during registration (step: Contact/Invoice details).

Changes to these details (name, address, VAT, etc.) are allowed within 3 days of registration for a 20 EUR fee.


Other Information

Invitation letter

Delegates can download their invitation letter from the Online Registration Portal once their registration has been paid in full. 


Visa information

As you prepare for your visit to Italy, it is essential to verify whether you are required to obtain a visa for entry. Italy is a member of the Schengen Area, and visa requirements vary based on your nationality and the purpose of your stay. 

Please be advised that if visa applications are submitted less than 45 days before the event, delegates will not be eligible for a refund of registration fees in the case of a visa refusal. We strongly recommend submitting visa applications well in advance to ensure timely processing and avoid complications.


Certificate of attendance

The Certificate of Attendance will be available for download in the Online Registration Portal after the Congress for all participating delegates. 


Photographs

Any images or visual recordings of participants taken during the event may be used by organiser for documentation of the event and promotion of future events, without any claim of the participants to any remuneration.

A participant may withdraw his or her consent to the use of the image at any time for reasonable cause contacting the ESPD Congress Secretariat at info@espd.info. By participating in the event, the participant acknowledges that visual recordings may be made for the above purposes.

Cancellation or modification of the ESPD 2026 Congress in appropriate circumstances

In appropriate circumstances, the organiser reserves the right to alter or cancel the meeting without prior notice. This may e.g. include a change of time and/or venue. Any such decision shall be communicated as soon as reasonably practical. Appropriate circumstances may include circumstances beyond the reasonable control of CZECH-IN s.r.o. preventing or impeding the realisation of the meeting. For example, government action, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, plague, or other epidemics or health concerns such as SARS, bird flu, COVID-19, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire or other natural physical disasters, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike or other protest, lack of the usual means of transportation or terrorism or security concerns.


Insurance

The registration fee does not include the participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage, or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.
