COVID-19 Information

In case the pandemic is still continuing in May 2021, the ESPD 2021 will be guaranteed against disruption by COVID-19 as follows: 

• The Annual meeting will definitely be run live, face to face, unless there are governmental closures in Vienna.

• The meeting will also be run virtually by live stream so the event is definitely taking place at least virtually and available to those who cannot attend physically onsite. 

• The Invited speakers lectures will be pre-recorded and accessible to registered delegates.

• Delegates can register either for the live onsite attendance, or for the virtual attendance.

• It will always be possible to switch from live to virtual attendance. It will be also possible to switch from a virtual to a live registration (subject to space in the venue).

• Numbers of live onsite registration places will be limited by social distancing guidelines. Timely registration for live attendance is recommended.
